Spirit of the Game
"Spirit of the Game", the underlying principle of the game of Ultimate.
This forum has been set up to gather thoughts on what Spirit of the Game means to you, and how you "Play it Forward" (pass it along) on and off the field.
Tell us how you "Play it Forward"!
Some players seem to be missing this key fundamental. What can we do to make players more aware?

Provincial Championships
Do you think ODSA should run a Provincial Championship for Ultimate, open to all divisions? If so, when should it be?
It has been suggested that the current touring schedule is already too heavy.
Like most PSO's, ODSA would favour running a Provincial Championship that also serves as the CUPA Regional for teams vying for spots at the Nationals. Play for all divisions would be included to recognize and award the best in the Province. Give us your input!

Touring Community
What can ODSA do to better support touring teams? In 2008, CUPA regionals for
Mixed and Womens Division were rebranded as ODSA Provincial Championships. We awarded First placed teams with a return of their team fees and ODSA shorts with a "Provincial Champions" embroidered emblem. Second place received 4-colour collector disc's and third place were awarded ODSA logo playing disc's.
This is what we've done in the past. What would the touring community like to see in future?

Voting Rights Amendment
During the Sept. 27th, 2008 AGM, a change was motioned & voted on to adopt "single club" voting rights (one vote per club) versus the previous "Individual" voting rights (one vote per member). What is your preference? We are gathering feedback in preparation for this years AGM. How would you like to see ODSA voting rights structured?
