Dear Friends,

We hope this communication from your friends at DISCANADA, Ontario's disc sports organization, finds you in good spirits and raring to go for a season already underway. This is the second issue of disKRAZE, Ontario Disc Sports' newsletter. With this, we want to share some key announcements.

Olympia
To support our advancement, the corporations' aims, constitution and by-laws have been rewritten to better serve and protect our association. Adoption of these operating standards, along with other business items and initiatives, will be voted on at this year's AGM, which will take place in the Coaches Lounge at Camp Olympia in Huntsville at 7 PM on May 20th.

DISCANADA board members and individuals who hold executive positions within DISCANADA's member clubs are invited to attend the AGM and represent their organization. A reduced rate of $165.00 is being offered to maximize attendance, at this, our first AGM. This registration fee includes 3 nights accommodation, 7 meals and free beer all weekend. To sign-up, click the Olympia logo to register through the TUC website.

DISCANADA's first few months have been very exciting and productive. Membership has been growing at a phenomenal pace, as more and more organizations appreciate the opportunity to grow disc sports, while taking advantage of the competitive Club Insurance & Corporate Membership package. Expanding it's membership base as part of it's club insurance - corporate membership offering.

To date we have 7 ultimate clubs representing 3 regions of Ontario. We will soon be welcoming North Bay, Sarnia and Waterloo to our ranks, bringing total membership to over 2000 paid members. On the disc golf front, we expect membership commitments from Brampton, Bronte Creek, Centennial Park, St. Thomas, and Toronto Island which will boost membership by approximately 500 additional members. Discussions with larger groups such as OCUA and TUC will be reported on in the June issue of disKRAZE. Once these relationships have been solidified DISCANADA is posed to become one of the largest disc sports groups in the world.

westmont
DISCANADA is committed to delivering meaningful partnerships to members that will result in easier access to products and services at better costs.

Recently we have partnered with Westmont Hospitality Group offering discounts to 130+ hotels across Canada. Members will receive an additional 5% off the already reduced 'sports rate' using the member 'DISC' discount code.

Thank you for interest and support of DISCANADA. Our ongoing commitment is to provide valuable savings opportunities to more efficiently run clubs as well as monthly disc community updates to broaden the awareness of the wider disc community. This second email blitz has been distributed to as many contacts as possible in the Ontario disc sports scene. Please help us to pass the message on and forward this to fellow disc friends.

Sincerely,

DISCANADA
