In order to compete in the CUC teams must first qualify to represent their region. Each region has a certain number bids allocated per division and the teams that receive these bids are determined through a regional qualification tournament.

2014 WUCC bids have been announced by the WFDF. Canada has 13 bids: 3 Masters, 3 Mixed, 3 Open, 3 Women's, and 1 Women's Masters. Bids will be awarded based on finish at the 2013 CUC in Vancouver.
With the CUC Junior division moving to new dates in 2013 there are a few important changes that Ultimate Canada would like to highlight for junior players and coaches before the release of the 2013 CUC Tournament Manual in the spring of 2013.
