2010 Ontario Mixed Ultimate Championships

Hamilton Ultimate Club and the Ontario Disc Sports Association (ODSA) are excited to announce the co-hosting of the Ontario Mixed Ultimate Championships taking place July 10th & 11th, 2010 at Brant Hills Park in Burlington, with support provided by Tourism Burlington.

 

 

With the help of Tourism Burlington, ODSA has negotiated some great rates and offerings through local hotels.

We will be accepting CUC Registered Touring team registrations on a first come first serve basis.

Team registration is $325 and can only be acquired and processed on line through the following REGISTRATION

As this is an Ultimate Canada Mixed Division Regional Qualification event, the TOP 6 TEAMS will receive bids to enter in the 2010 Canadian Ultimate Championships in Sherbrooke, QC being held August 12 - 15, 2010.


 

 

Event Schedule/Team Seedings/Field Assignments/Final Results

The format is a 9 team round robin over 2 days (4 games per team, per day).

This schedule could require up to 12 hours of play time (4 games, at 90 minutes per game if all games go to time) for teams. As the weather is forecast to be hot, for reasons of health and safety, ample water will be provided along with some shade tents.

According to the Ultimate Canada tournament manual, non-final games should and will be played to a score of 15, with a point cap at 17, scheduled for 90 minutes with a soft cap at 75 and hard cap at 85.

ROSTER REMINDER:

  1. If your team must play in a regional championship then the deadline to submit your roster is before the start of the regional tournament.
  2. After the roster deadline you can add up to 3 more players to your roster.
  3. Only players listed on Roster may play with the team at the Regional tournament.
  4. To be eligible to play in the CUC Series, a team must have a minimum of 14 players on its roster.
  5. Each team is permitted a maximum of 28 players on their CUC series roster.
